For boys and girls aged 8 to 10½

There are loads of fun things that you can do as a Cub Scout. Each week you can take part in an exciting Cub Meeting based around a theme, such as exploring a new country, a space journey, cooking, staying safe, art or aircraft - and lots more.  In addition to the fun and games, you will get a chance to try lots of different activities like climbing & abseiling, swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. If you do them properly you will get a badge which you can wear on your uniform.

Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out. Recently, we've been to Alton Towers, Edinburgh Zoo, Disney on Ice, The Time Capsule, the Butterfly & Insect World, Landmark and Loudoun Castle theme park.

You will get a chance to a camp or other sleepover activity at least twice a year - and usually more often. Sometimes this will be sleeping  indoors and other times you will be sleeping in a tent. On every camp, you can do loads of activities.

We've had weekends just for older Cubs; take part in Group Camps and have had one week camps to York, London and even Alton Towers! You might even get an opportunity to go abroad. Some Cubs have been to Paris and Disneyland.

Have a look at these photos and see what you could be doing!
