For young people aged between 10½ and 14 years

You can make friends and develop new interests in way that's both educational and fun. You want a break from the usual after school routine of homework, games and watching television? Then this is for you!

Our activities are about action and involvement and mean more than just camping. Hiking, rock climbing, sailing, pioneering, canoeing, abseiling, putting on shows and exhibitions, motor mechanics, electronics, photography - the list is endless!

Scouts are also given the chance to learn skills in survival, cooking and first aid.

We have weekend camps and Summer camps. There are often opportunities to go abroad as well. We're looking forward to an exciting week in Paris in Summer 2008.

We've had visits to Florida in 1999 and 2001 and other Camps have included Switzerland in 2003 and the South of France & Paris in 2005. In 2007, we returned to Florida for a week at a Boy Scouts of America Summer Camp, followed by a week of top theme parks and other local attractions.

Have a look at these photos and see what you could be doing!
