Raise funds the easy way for Linburn Scouts

Do you shop online?

Well, here's a great way to access online bargains, find cheaper gas and electricity services and even book your holidays - and make money for your favourite Scout Group!

Our Spend and Raise eStore is an online shopping directory featuring hundreds of retailers including John Lewis, Debenhams, Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer and many more.

Each time you shop with these retailers via your eStore, a commission is generated and given to Linburn Scouts

Couldn't be easier - just click on the logo to start shopping!

You can make a donation to us by text

We now have a mobile phone giving account with Vodaphone where anyone can donate money to the Group.

For example, to donate £10, text:

SCTS14  £10  to  70070

Please don’t use it for subs or camp payments, but if anyone wants to make a donation to us, this is one of the easiest ways to do it.

Recycling. We'll take your old stuff!

We're keen to recycle for cash. It's good for our fund-raising and for our activities as a globally responsible, green movement.

We'll take:

  • Used toner and ink cartridges (not Epson, please)
  • Old mobile phones, tablets and pads
  • CDs, DVDs and disk-based computer games (with original case, paperwork, bar-codes, etc)
  • Old jewellery - any kind, not just gold!

Just bring the items along to Hall, or pass them on to any member to bring along. Sorting is undertaken by youngsters as an "hours" activity for camps and trips

Group-organised activities

We organise many other activities throughout the year that we hope our families will support, including:

  • Annual Sponsor Event (for 2012, a Hikathon)
  • Lucky Lotto Number
  • Football Team Cards
  • Hot food stalls at galas and fayres

Our young people also undertake bag-packing in local supermarkets and delivery of leaflets.

If you can help us with the organisation or propmotion of any of these activities, we'd like to hear from you
