A solid track record
Linburn Scouts started in 1965, moving to our current premises in 1972. During those years, many hundreds of youngsters have enjoyed some great Scouting.

We are one of the busiest Scout Groups in the local area. Our Sections meet almost every week, averaging around 48 weekly meetings each year. We have lots of extra activities, trips and camps.

We own our grounds and Scout Centre buildings and we have a large stock of outdoor activity and camping equipment.

Although we do not own our own minibus at present, we have access to range of Scout-owned vehicles which we use frequently for trips and activities.

An exciting future

Redevelopment of the area around our Centre will bring a new vitality to the community and we intend to play our part in this renewal.

We hope to relocate to vacant ground on the other side of the petrol station gap, literally just yards from our current site and we are now in the early stages of preparing plans and a funding package to allow us to make the move in the next two to three years.

This will be a very exciting development, allowing us to offer even better Scouting to our growing membership and secure our long-term future.
